Set up Switch

How to start Switch with your key. You need the script lines from your order e-mail: we send them only to you, with your key already in them. You use the same lines in every game Switch plays.

What you need

Your own executor that can make web requests and run loadstring. Switch doesn't provide one.
The script lines from your order e-mail. They're also on the order page you see right after paying. They're also on your account page.
Roblox on the PC you'll use Switch on. Your key locks to the first PC that uses it.

Using Switch breaks Roblox's Terms of Use, and Roblox may act against your account, up to a ban. Only use Switch on a Roblox account you're prepared to lose. Section 4 of our Terms explains the risk.

Start Switch

Open Roblox on that PC and join the game.
Before you start playing, paste the lines from your order e-mail into your executor and run them. They find the game you're in and load its agent. The agent is a large download, and starting it can freeze the game for a moment.
The first time an agent loads, your key locks to this PC. If you bought a pass, its time starts then, not when you paid.
Once Switch has loaded, the agent starts in your game window.
If the game moves you to another server, Switch follows by itself if your executor supports that; if it doesn't, run the lines again. If you leave and join again, run the lines again. Your key is remembered on this PC.
Optional: if your executor has an autoexec folder, put the second line there, and it runs by itself in every game you join. Your key is already remembered, so it needn't go in another file. In a game Switch doesn't play, you'll see a short notice.

If something goes wrong

Switch shows a Roblox notification titled "Switch" that says what happened. Your executor's console shows the same text, starting with [Switch]. The most common messages, and what to do:

The key wasn't recognised: check it's exactly as in your e-mail. Copying the lines from the e-mail avoids typos.
The key is locked to another PC: move it to this PC with a reset (below).
The key expired: your pass or subscription has ended. Buy a new pass or subscription.
Switch doesn't play this game yet: there's no Switch agent for the game you're in. The Games menu lists the games Switch plays.
Your executor can't make web requests, or has no loadstring: that executor can't run Switch.
Switch couldn't reach its server: check your internet connection and try again.
The key was replaced by a newer one: use the latest key we sent you.
The key is paused or on hold: if your subscription's last payment didn't go through, pay with the link in our e-mail, and the key works again at once. Otherwise, open a ticket in our Discord.
The key no longer works: if you think that's a mistake, open a ticket in our Discord.

If your key expires, is moved to another PC or stops working while the agent runs, the agent stops within a few minutes, and the same notification tells you why.

Moving to another PC

Resets are for moving to a PC you use, not for sharing.

When a pass starts

A pass starts the first time an agent loads with your key, not when you buy it. Until then, its time doesn't run. Once it has started, the time runs whether or not you play.

Lost your key?

Open a ticket in our Discord with your order number. We can issue a replacement key, which goes to the e-mail address you ordered with. The old key then stops working.
